Background image

A page-wide background image can be defined in the Site Configurator, with the option of repeating the image in tiles. (This is particularly important for low-resolution images). Only site admins can make this setting. (See here)

It is now possible to show different background images on all subpages than those defined in the site configurator. There are several options under Page settings --> Appearance. The options selected in the page settings apply to the corresponding page and all its subpages.

If no background image is defined on the page, the following options are available:

  • Use parent page mode or site-wide setting for repeating: With this option, the background image and the arrangement (tiles/non-tiles) are taken from the site configurator.
  • Deactivate background image:This option can be used to restore the neutral white background on the corresponding page.

If a custom background image is set on the page, the following options are available:

  • Use parent page mode or site-wide setting for repeating: With this option, the page's own background image is adopted in the Site Configurator arrangement. (If the layout is changed in the Site Configurator, the layout will also change here)
  • Repeat background image: With this option, the page's own background image is repeated, regardless of the arrangement defined in the Site Configurator.
  • Do not repeat background image: With this option, the page's own background image is not repeated, regardless of the arrangement defined in the Site Configurator.
